BUSINESS OWNER



Sanjeev P: My journey in the hospitality industry began in 1987, at the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Ahmedabad, India. I subsequently had stints at the Taj Group of Hotels and Le Meridien, New Delhi India. Upon coming to the United States, I wet my feet in the business in San Francisco California. I thereafter moved to Chicago in 1995 as a member of the opening team to start India House on Devon Avenue in Chicago. In 1997, I headed the transition team of The Indian Garden Restaurant with three locations in Schaumburg, Devon Avenue, and Downtown Chicago. In 1998, I opened the Indian Harvest and have had great pleasure in introducing Indian culture and cuisine to the Naperville community.

Anu Hora: I graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Ahmedabad in 1990. I was very involved in my university and had the privilege to represent my institution at an All India Chef Student Competition in 1989. My experience at my university brought light to my passion for creativity and customer interaction/hospitality. From there I began Industrial Training with Taj Hotels Mumbai and landed a job at Le Meridien in New Delhi from the summer of 1990 to August 1996. I gained extensive exposure to managing different food and beverage outlets like specialty bars, coffee shops, room service, a Chinese restaurant, banquets, and Belvedere specialty multi-continental cuisine. With that, I came to the United States and successfully managed a Zagat rated highly acclaimed Indian restaurant in Washington D.C. I had a 1-year stint with an American casual dining restaurant chain as a unit general manager at Boston Market. From there, I moved to Chicago and joined hands with Sanjeev as a co-owner and operator of Indian Harvest and have never looked back.

Indian Harvest proudly offers a buffet during our lunch hours. With fresh Naan and Tandoori Chicken brought to your table along with a diverse range of appetizers, entrees, and desserts, our lunch buffet provides an experience favorable to people who love to try new dishes as well as our regulars who just can’t get enough of Indian Harvest.

Our buffet hours are:  

Monday through Friday 11:30AM to 2:15PM and
Saturday & Sunday 12:00PM to 3:00PM.
